Meeting Notes
I think today might have been an important Mond(ai)y Coffee. Nicholas shared a project he’s building. Lots of people had lots of thoughts. So far, so normal.
What was unusual was the willingness to jump in and help. Most folks who attend these early Monday morning coffees are heads down and hands dirty building their own things. The time and tokens to go chase another project just aren’t available.
But Nick shared a tool to help homeless pregnant mothers get on their feet. To be clear, what Nick is building is just part of the process, but it’s something we can help with. Multiple people raised their hands and said they wanted to help. KC Wolff-Ingham, Jonathan Kyle, and too many others to mention were excited to pitch in.
I think we might have our first Mond(ai)y Coffee community project.
It’s always shocking to see the number of smart and creative folks who show up every Monday. Now, we might form like Voltron to build something important.
