Meeting Notes
We went on a deep dive into frontier models versus small models and everything in between. At the end, Anatoly Shilman challenged the group to get their heads back above water and think about the business side of it all.
James Harris had a response that resonated with me. He said groups like Mond(ai)y Coffee are a lot like the Homebrew Computer Club, which gave birth to Apple. James then went on to say we might only get three billionaires out of this group, but that would be okay. 😂
For me, the exciting part is the culture of creativity and building that’s growing around AI. There’s a real hacker culture that’s been missing from a lot of tech since phones ate compute. I’m glad it’s back.
I’m also glad folks are enjoying each other’s company enough to stick around for a 1 p.m. lunch.
