Meeting Notes
I think the best thing a meeting like Mond(ai)y Coffee can do is help someone dream bigger.
I think that might have happened today.
Someone was sharing a vision for how personalized employee agents might dream at night. Anne Marie Davis offered a few ideas. He responded — paraphrasing — “Obviously, we can’t do all that yet.”
Anne’s response: “I think you can, though. That’s what I’m saying.”
What a gift.
We are in a dream-big moment. It can be tough to stay focused while also dreaming big, but it helps to hear someone say, “I think you can.”
That’s what I hope people take away from Mond(ai)y Coffee: the confidence to dream bigger — especially if it helps the robots dream better.
This was just one small part of a rip-roaring Pass the Aux. We talked digital employee twins, who owns what, the best ways to let the robots dream, and how AI may evolve differently across countries and cultures.
We were not short on either big ideas or practical ways to implement them.
We left with Jonathan Kyle raising his hand to discuss Principles of Responsible AI at a future meeting, plus the possibility of a series on some of the bigger ideas that surfaced today.
We went off the rails, came back, and went off again a couple of times. It was fun.
Who needs caffeine when you have the future to solve?
